A note from your guide

I came to Bratislava for a season and stayed for good. I'm a licensed guide and I speak Japanese, and I keep groups to eight or fewer so a walk stays a conversation, not a megaphone tour. There's no script and no rush — we stop for coffee, we take the photos, and I tell you the things you'd never find alone: which lane the locals actually use, why the castle looks like an upturned table, what the border felt like when it ran through Devín. We meet you right at the Danube cruise dock and get you back before the horn. Just tell us your all-aboard time when you book.

From Vienna

It's about an hour by train from Vienna. Morning out, evening back — the four-hour walk fits a day trip perfectly.
